Anytime you can't run and can't protect the quarterback the way this team is we have a serious problem. This is not an easy fix. What we have is what we have so strap on the arse pad cause it's not going to stop against sec opponents.

I am also much more concerned about the offensive line.

Clearly, the lack of depth can be addressed by better recruiting of OL prospects. A close assessment of Grimes at season's end needs to be a priority.

As been mentioned many times, the Les Miles outmoded method of recruiting guards and converting them to tackles has not worked. I would prefer making offensive tackles a higher recruiting priority in the future.

There are still hopes for Deculus, Ingram, Charles and perhaps Cushenberry as well, so we should certainly not give up on them.

What do the players think of Jenkins? He was a good coach a long time ago. But what about now?

The OL is a major problem and I'm not sure it can be fixed. I don't think Brunfield and Malone are very good and we're starting freshman interchangeably which means that's all we have unless both are superstars. The dl of Lacouture, Gilmore and Logan without substitutes is the worst we have had in a long time. I think this will change if and when Lawrence, Herron and Alexander return. Does anyone know their status? These three are better than the 3 we had on the field last night.
