You seem to forget that Sullivan, Anderson, Davis, and Dillon are all sophomores this year, redshirted or not. Even though that does not excuse them from not being as productive as their potential shows, they still have some time to mature. Not too much time, but a lot can happen in 2 years.

Oh they will definitely get better and be contributors. I think Anderson is a starter if the coaches feel they can rely on him. Dillon and Sullivan showed enough this year that they will get on the field.

The narrative here is just that Drake Davis is a Julio Jones type waiting to breakout and I just don't think it ever happens. He's a large body that runs and jumps well but he just hasn't shown, at any point in his playing career, that he's a true number 1 type receiver. I don't think the light will just suddenly come on for him.

My point though is there is room for talented receiver recruits to become contributors immediately.
