I’ve read a couple different theories on it. Most say just dramatic effect but I think it’s because the real tapes had those names bleeped out

If you remember when the thin man had a shotgun to his back, he told the commander that he could take the tapes with the names of every political figure involved and take everything down but would basically be killing himself, the other option was to take the tapes that didn’t have names that would protect his bosses and allow him to leave with the cash and allow Félix to live as well.

Maybe I misread that scene so don’t hold me to that but I think that’s what they were going for
