I'm sure he's not the runner Burrow was, but are we sure he has no mobility?

Am I the only one who thinks it’s an insensitive thing to say while Miles Brennan is standing at the event and hearing the coaches comments?

Oh no! His feelings might be hurt?

It’s motivation and telling the 2021 guys we need them

Brennan was a Les Miles recruit

I'm not sure that really matters. A lot of the guys from that Miles helped recruit were just big contributors to a national championship.

Of course he’s not

-Doesn’t fit the prototype of a CFB playoff QB

What is the prototype?

-Was recruited under a different coach

That should have no bearing.

-He accepted a Burrow transfer cause he didn’t think Brennan was a dude. In a era where good QBs are starting earlier & earlier

Yet 3/4 CFP QBs were transfers.

-Again they’ve been in contact with D’Eriq King

So they exercised diligence.

-Brennan has not looked good in the in-game opportunities he has been presented with

He's made good throws and not so good. I've seen him run when the pocket broke down and make tight window throws. Canada wanted him to start as a true FR. The current offense is a lot closer to what he ran in HS.

Brennan will be fine.

I was hoping after the Natty our fanbase would become a bit less retarded. Unfortunately it's just gotten much, much worse

I don’t think he does. He’s a twig & im a body language guy, he does not want to be carrying the ball on designed plays like burrow did, imo

Brennan has a great arm and pretty good wheels.

Jalen hurts led a team to the CFB playoff as a freshman

Justin fields was a true sophomore

These are the prototype. Multi threat run/pass

I thought the same thing. It’s very important that a player especially the quarterback/leader believe their coach believe in them. It’s critical imo.

Brennan will be fine. We will run the ball more but he is more than capable of being great. We wont see another qb like joe for a long time.

LSU fans are trying like hell to talk themselves into him being a run threat. That’s for sure

Or maybe he doesn't have the faith in the backups if there's an injury. Hell, maybe both.

King is going to Miami, let's face it, there isn't a qb on the roster nor in the country that can do or live up to what Joe just did.

So you are saying LSU has to get a DT QB? Would you be surprised that Brennan ran for 1141 yds in HS (6.0 ypc). He's not a statue.

Did King reach out to us or us to him? I believe he contacted LSU. If we wanted him he would be here and not go to the dumpster fire Miami don't you think?

...in 42 games

27 ypg

Being the 2nd/3rd/4th best athlete on the field every Friday night

That’s not going to play in the SEC.

He’s still not big enough to withstand hits regularly, too

I'll have to keep an eye on that. That said, I do like Brennan's quick release.
