I hate to say it but I feel like the bell is already rung here.
Too many random cases from seemingly random exposures for this thing to not be somewhat relatively ubiquitous.
This has been spreading here for quite some time and our 5%ish mortality rate from our "known" cases being an outlier from the rest of the world suggests that is the case.

5%?
Are you retarded or just trolling?
If you are under 50 you have less than a .2% chance of dying from this.
Senior citizen deaths are inflating these numbers outrageously high.

No, you're just a fricking moron that has no critical thought.
We "know" about 401 cases in the United States. 19 have died. That is about 4.7%.
The world-wide rate is around 2%. We think the actual mortality rate is 0.1-1%.
This suggests that our 401 number is an underrepresentation of the actual number and a lot more people have it than we think.

And a lot more people WORLDWIDE have it too, or do you think that's a US problem?
Any and all numbers are useless at this point. You'd have better luck guessing how many gallons of water are in the ocean.

Seeing as how the world-wide mortality rate is 2% and ours is 2x as high, I think we are missing a lot more cases than they are.

Test! Test! Test! Test! Test! Test! and Test some more!
That is key.

Or......get this.....old people were infected here first....
Posted on 3/7/20 at 5:21 pm to NC_Tigah
I do agree. There is a chance to mitigate this a little.
I'm worried though if we don't start militant testing in the next couple weeks.

yeah, granny in the nursing home got it on her flight back from Beijing.

More likely a young person who traveled went to the nursing home and infected them weeks ago.
I'm retarded? What are the ages of ALL of the deaths in the US? They're all old as frick and most from the same nursing home, retard.

Leaked Docs: AHA Preparing for 96 Million Infections, Hundreds of Thousands of Deaths
"The spread of the deadly COVID-19 could be far worse than the government has let on, with almost 500,000 Americans expected to die from the virus and 4.8 million hospitalized, according to slides shown at an event hosted by The American Hospital Association (AHA) last month.
The slides, presented by Dr. James Lawler, a professor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, suggest that hospitals must ramp up preparations now to reduce the death toll around the U.S...
...The elderly over 80 have about a 15% chance of dying from the disease, and people 60-79 are still at significant risk, according to the slides."

That 8 recovered number is such bullshite
Has there ever been a “pandemic” with updates every 10 cases?
And still no total days of panic in the title - of course that would make the other numbers look silly

CPAC chairman Matt Schlapp tells me he interacted with attendee who has tested positive for coronavirus. While the timeline is unknown, Schlapp shook Trump's hand on stage the last day of the conference.

If you have better information than the Johns Hopkins Medical Center, please share it.
