You need to make a phone call. You’re paying $38 per month more than me.

Last time I did they told me to switch if I was unhappy. The dude pulled up At&t's website and punched in my addressed to prove I lied about getting 300mbps for $70

I think I pay $94 for 200 Mbps. I'm probably getting screwed as is usually the case for longtime customers. I think I've had their service for 20 years.

I would have canceled right there. That’s some grade A B.S.

Threaten to cancel. Their rates are listed on their website so they can’t hide behind anything.

We have AT&T fiber available in our neighborhood for about the same price. It would actually be cheaper the first two years. I just hate AT&T more than Cox.

They've got me by the bawls on this one. I and the SO need faster internet for work. The usual hoot and holler was shot down with the quickness. I used to pay $85 too...

About this for internet good enough to stream TV and movies. Cox is not to be trusted with billing more complicated than that.

They of course called me offering some “deal” where I can get more for the same price. blah, blah, blah. I know they’ll “give” you something then jack up the price later. I quickly shut them down. Said “No thanks, I am satisfied with what I have. I don’t want anything else!”

Been with COX for 10+ yrs. My rates went up a minimum $20 a mth till this past mth when it went up $33. Loyalty program agreed to drop it back to my previous rate. Which means next yr it would be right up there again. Signed with YouTube for cable only & am saving $79 a mth with no contract. As many if not more programs. Suggest trying YouTube, 2 days free with no obligation.Done with COX.

Threaten to cancel( if no new deal) than cancel and switch account in spouse name with new promotion deal. All they need is new social. Then you can switch back the next year same thing... when I lived in Williamsburg Virginia several years ago, cox had monopoly and that was only way I could avoid the yearly 100$ increase

79.99 for AT&T Gigabit. Cut the cord on cable years ago, utilize Youtube TV as well as Netflix, HBOMAX, Hulu, Prime. Getting Netflix for free (TMobile) and Hulu free (Spotify) and HBOMax for free (ATT).

I was paying over $100 to Cox just for internet when I switched last year to ATT fiber. I have have ATT 1000mbps download X1000mbps upload for $70 with NO data caps. Cox's more expensive option was only 1000downX35up. Cox's 35mbps up is their max on any tier, pretty sad. ATT has 15ms latency too which I had never seen before.

I hear ATT customer service is horrible, but I haven't had to use them once thank god. From a service standpoint and price, ATT is wayyyy better from my experience here in BR, so if they offer fiber to your house I would definitely recommend making the switch.
