They should go further and charge the parents with child endangerment. If he shares a room with someone younger than him he shouldn’t be allowed to keep even a BB gun in the room. What if it was loaded and went off when he tripped over it? It could have put his eye out.
Irresponsible parenting.
This is sarcasm btw

Hell, when I was in the fourth grade we would run around the playground playing war, using sticks as machine guns and the teachers didn’t give a shite.
When my son was in pre-k, he and another boy was running around at recess and they were pointing their fingers at each other like a gun saying “pew pew”. Both got sent to the principals office about it..When I got the call, I was HOT.
My son was upset when he got home because he thought I was gonna be mad at him.
I just told him “I’m not mad at you, but you can’t do that at school”, and that’s it.
He has BB guns, nerf guns and a few of my old toy cap pistols.
Total BS

Can some one explain how schools came to this realization that they control whatever we have in our homes?
If thats their policy they should also be on the hook for the mortgage, utilities, insurance and maintenance.

Why the hell are these poor kids doing virtual classes?

Might be the first time I actually want to see the race card get played.
Come on, BLM. Protest this and tell the JP Schools that a white kid would not get this penalty. I would LOVE to see it.

What entails a suspension from virtual school?
Posted on 9/24/20 at 2:59 pm to ProbyOne
Kid and his parents should just get a call from the school with a warning and told to make sure it doesn't happen again.
Send an email or letter to the other parents in the class just to let them know what happened and that the issue was addressed with the kid in question and his parents. The other parents can ignore or address it with their own kids as they see fit.
Problem solved.

The "agenda" folk are trying to extend school policy to anything that shows up on a screen during virtual learning.
If the schools were run by true educators, they'd be more concerned about this child missing six days of school.

Can’t bring a fake gun to fake school

When mine was 10 yrs old, we let him have a bday party sleepover. He invited 11 buddies and they all brought their airsoft rifles & camo. Those kids built barricades, fox holes and a fort in the woods behind the house near the creek and had the time of their lives.
They had battles & sneak attacks and all kinds of shite. Then pitched tents for the night, built a fire and my wife took out pizza and drinks for dinner and we never supervised them for a minute. They were just boys being boys in the outdoors and that was only 9 yrs ago.

I’m waiting to see what happens when a kid is caught eating peanuts during virtual school.

Where's the harm. This was in a "virtual class".
By definition: virtual
['v?rCH(o?o)?l]
ADJECTIVE
almost or nearly as described, but not completely or according to strict definition.
Worst case scenario, "virtual threat".

Again with indoctrination bullshite....
Yeah, teachers are to lazy to educate, but not too lazy to turn class into a Marxist re-education camp?
Do you people read what you write?
Also, as I said in the other thread that this happened in, it’s a liability issue.
If it looks like a real gun, or if other kids say “Billy has a gun in his room,” then it gets reported. There’s too much risk involved.

I just saw this story and checked to see if it was posted on here. This is the craziest shite. Kid got suspended for having a BB gun in his bedroom. That is fricking wild.

Nice
When my boy was 12 he and another buddy celebrated their birthday by taking 18 boys out to a paintball place and they had war with each other and other kids for three hours. Some of those city kids had never done anything like that and had a blast.
