Are you adding a year?

You said that he wants to get you in a 2.5 for 30 after you refinanced last year. I wouldn't if it adds time. I could be wrong but you may end up paying more overall. You'll have to break down the numbers.

Sounds high. Ask on here before you close.

Awhile back it was as low as 2.5% but market has gone up a bit since then- Closer in the 3s. It all depends if you have a second mortgage or HELOC

That's a good rate. I'm getting a 15 yr 2.5% loan with no fees as it's a HELOC. It's fixed P&I though. I have a condo I'm right at 15 years left on @ 4%, so this is a no-brainer.

Sorry to thread-jack you.

I as well am looking to Refi.
Currently at a 30 year VA Loan at 3.1%

I have seen some really low rates (2.25-2.5)? Does anyone have any recommendations on who to go through for a Refi?
