Anyone have a place (other than Stantons) or person they recommend for fixing appliances? (ice maker, wine fridge, etc...)

David Kade 225-241-8610. He does great work and is honest. He'll tell you if it's worth fixing or better to replace. He's busy as shite and hard to get on the phone though. Best to text him. He never answers his phone and his voicemail is always full.

Do not ever use STANTONS for repair work...I used them once and service was terrible ...it was not fixed properly and I had to get someone else to repair what they didnt...

I've sort of come the conclusion that if I can't fix it myself by watching YouTube videos, I should probably just buy a new one.
Repairmen are rarely worth the time and expenses.

We haven’t had any luck with appliance repair in BR.
Stanton’s can be rude, Sherwood Appliance is a story for another day - then about 3 years ago I called some company to fix the dryer - I can’t remember the name - the man fixed it but it only lasted a year after that
So depending on what it is - you might just want to get a new one
