Best home security system?

Previous owners had ADT installed. I've read some horror stories on ADT from reddit. I'd prefer to not DIY since I'm away quite often for military stuff (sometimes without internet/phone) and would prefer active monitoring for the fiance

I love the customer service I have had with Custom. Any time I have ever had to call them a live person answers the phone and I never have to deal with an automated answer service. I have no idea if they are the best but I will gladly pay extra just for that service. If you are in South LA definitely look at them.
