Hawthornes call always reminds me of Bob Eukers call at the end of Major League: “Indians win it, Indians win it...oh my god th Indians win it !!!”

Awesome always gives me goose bumps listening to Jims call at the end .

I would have been watching on WAFB, but I was in San Antonio for my sister’s wedding. I may have been the only person watching in SA, but everyone could hear me yell on The Riverwalk.

Eighth grade. Home. Was late for the game, because I had to get fitted for a tuxedo. We had some friends over, and the house absolutely erupted.

This will tell you about the times. After everything calmed down, I went to my friend’s house, and we went on AOL chat rooms via dialup, and started talking trash to everybody we could about LSU’s national championship. This was long before TD or SEC Rant, obviously.

On the way home from vacation in Branson in some baseball card shop as a 17 year old with my little brother. Watched it on a 13 inch tv. The store owner thought we were crazy.

This has been a fun thread to read through.

I was 12 years old, watching in the living room. It was a beautiful day, so my family was outside doing whatever. Right before Morris stepped to the plate, Mom yelled at me to stop watching TV and enjoy the weather.

I thankfully ignored her, and saw it. I sprinted out the front door screaming and laughing, and insisted everyone get inside to see what happened.

Was my first memory of LSU baseball as well. I was 13 actually watching that game with my whole baseball team in bw our games in a tournament in lutcher, la. I’ll never forget the Miami player laying face down in the dirt in tears and having that feeling of excitement with my whole team together. Was surreal.

Church league softball game. One of our teammates had brought a 7 inch black and white portable TV and had the game on while we played. By the time the bottom of the ninth rolled around, both teams and everybody in attendance were huddled around that tiny screen. We went nuts when the ball cleared the wall. Truly a moment I will never forget. Still get goosebumps everytime I watch the replay.

I miss the atmosphere of the old Rosenblatt Stadium. It was so much fun and there were so many memories there. It was a great environment.
