I did not know this. The German's use of Amphetamines is well documented. Maybe the American use is less so. I'll look it up.

Germany had best leadership and solid soldiers plus meth
Japan had the most insane and determined

Great Britain was tough they never surrendered during Blitzkrieg
Russians were cannon fodder but had numbers

Both used amphetamines. Also it’s not the same as meth. The lack of education is appalling.

Not saying they were the best, but France had one the largest and best equipped army at the time.They were completely unprepared for the blitzkrieg.They were expecting trench warfare like WWI.

Stalin won because he had more bodies to throw at the meat grinder than the Germans did. Simply put.

Soviet soldiers were very hit and miss. Some would fight to the death while others would surrender by the thousands. Ultimately the sheer amount of soldiers that they were able to field is what made them so strong. The quote “quantity has a quality of its own” is a great way to describe the Red army
