Anyone have this yet or thinking about it? $30 isn’t bad at all for how good the first game was. Thinking about going ahead and getting it even though I have so much other crap to play

I just don't see how it would be different enough for me to buy a second version of what I assume is going to be a very similar gameplay loop. Granted I haven't looked into the game very much so I'm making a lot of assumptions.

Hades was great but not sure if I'd pay 30 if it's essentially the same game

From the little bit I’ve watched of a stream it was said they’ve done a lot to improve on it. Streamer said he was enjoying it so far. I’d have to watch some more before I buy, but $30 really doesn’t seem like a steep price at all to me

I don't understand why it's in EA. What is the point of EA, you have the bugs and engine completely worked out.

I think it’s mostly balancing the various boons. Don’t quote me

I had 165 hours in the first and loved tf out of it. I'm holding off for a bit though on the sequel. It does not have the full story yet and boons items are still a WIP. I'd rather wait until it gets closer to full release before giving it a go because I don't want to burn myself out on it and not come back after it is finalized. Besides I've got a Stellaris expansion out today to try and I'm still balls deep in the most recent Rimworld expansion.

darn close to 100% achievements in hades. altho beating Charon twice in a row will be a pain.

few more keepsake level up grinds, one 30% pierced butterfly run, and a few more prophecies.

will likely close that out before moving onto 2. fun game.

I find the problem with beating Charon tends to be getting a good build early then actually finding his levels with the coinpurse.

IMHO it gets a lot easier if you have 3-4 revives and certain status effects like freeze, doom, etc, that stack.

From what I’ve seen I’m about the same as you I’ll go ahead and get it but I still have to finish rebirth
