I won a set of these at a golf tournament and recently had a chance to use them for a quick 9 holes. They seem interesting for the little I have used them.

Anyone here have experience with them? Thoughts?

I have the Shotscope ones, but Lou Stagner is on a podcast that I listen to, and he seems to be a big part of the Arcos research. It seems like they have some really great stats that can help. Apparently, there is a Smart Caddie that factors in wind and your history to suggest a club on the course. There is also data to show how you do with different clubs off the tee to make better decisions.

Shotscope is great, but it doesn't seem to have near the data that Arcos has.

I have 21 rounds recorded with Arccos and I absolutely love it. Using it with my Apple Watch, I never have to pull my phone out. Keeping up with the stats, shot history, and club distances are fantastic. It will also compare your round or past rounds to your “goal” handicap and it will show you where you’ve gained strokes or lost strokes compared to that.

Never used them but I've heard good things.

Seem great in theory, and as long as connectivity is good they’re great, but I had a ton of issues with the sensors staying connected with my Garmin.

I have the Shotscope sensors. Same idea and data without a subscription. Easy to edit and view on any device.

Shotscope is introducing a new feature for "advanced" play called MyStrategy. Allows you to preview a course you are going to play and input your recorded data to see where your shots land and what clubs you should consider playing on a specific hole and for a specific shot.

Big deep dive into data.

I haven't heard about this, and I usually read their monthly newsletter. When is it coming out?

ETA: Wow, it's available now. Looks like I'm not doing any work the rest of the day. I just searched "Mystrategy" in my gmail and nothing came up.

My first reaction to this new feature is I am not sure where they are getting my numbers from. The P average distance on my driver doesn't match my 1 round, 5 round, 10 round, 15 round, 2023, 2022, or 2021 number. I guess it could be taking all of that, but I'm not sure. Also, the dispersion seems off. Maybe I am just unaware that my dispersion with my 4 iron is 14 yards more than my driver, but I doubt it.

Everything else seems really cool. I like that you can put in the wind speed and direction. The day before the round, you can check your weather app for that info, plug it in, then plan your round.

They say its based off the "last 30 shots hit." I assume it's 30 shots for each club so that you have ample data from each one. I'm having a hard time with Shot Scope data. I only have a dozen or so rounds, so maybe I need more.

MyStrategy

There is a link to the MyStrategy YouTube video.

Also a podcast with a Shot Scope rep on "How to Interpret Data." This helped a bit, but I think I still need more data.

Last 30 shots hit per club would make a lot of sense. The last 3 months or so, I am not hitting my driver well at all. Even when I get it in the fairway, the ball isn't going near the distance I usually hit it. I think it's mostly something wrong with my swing and not making good contact. So, if the data was based on my last 15 rounds, which likely covers 4-5 months for me, that wouldn't be as helpful as my current form.

Hey DT, check this out. Would LOVE to go to this. Also, THP is a pretty cool website.
