Anyone played this course on the RTJ trail in Bama?

Yes. Not recent though. Amazing course

Yes, it's an enjoyable track. Can be a beast of a course if you want, the orange tees (2up from the tips) is still 6800 yards. I think they are about to reopen after they accidentally killed several of their greens months ago, so should be in prime condition.

I assume they are back running at full speed after they lost all their greens when I think a groundskeeper used an herbicide instead of fertilizer?

They’re back open. Played there about a week and a half ago.
Course is in phenomenal shape, long, but fun. Greens don’t hold much right now, incredibly fast.

Played 2 weekends ago.
Fantastic shape. Can see a lot of fresh sod where they took advantage of the closure, but all playing surfaces were pure.
Greens felt like walking on a pool table, so no nasty divots and lost a couple decent approach shots, but felt great putting. Absolutely worth playing.

Played it 3 weeks ago. I enjoyed it and thought it was in great shape.

Played it right after it reopened and agree with these assessments. Greens are firm and fast. New sod needs a good growing season, and they could benefit from spreading out the tee times a bit. It was SLOW!!
