Yea, it's insane. I wasn't a fan of the name (just make it Sunday Red ffs) or the logo, but it's tiger and I would have been up for buying a shirt or two. But screw that, I hope it tanks. $120 for a plain white polo and $45 for a hat that looks cheaper than a Bass Pro Shops trucker hat.

I'm not cheap with my clothes, but you can buy some nice, name brand, golf polos for $30.

7) little to no marketing

idk, he was on both the Today show and the Tonight Show marketing the brand yesterday

That said. The stuff is ugly. The material choices suck. The collars suck. The logo sucks. People will buy it early because it's Tiger, but I don't think it has a lot of staying power. Maybe if he did this 15 years ago it would have worked. I also find it odd that none of the hats are hats Tiger actually wears on the course.

You serious? You can go to dicks website and there are Nike, Adidas, Walter Hagen, Footjoy, Bad Birdie, VRST, Scales, and Puma all with polos around $30 and under. That took me two seconds to find on one website, much less shopping around.

All that stuff has been marked down from $60-80. So yeah, you can get name brand stuff on clearance cheap if they happen to have your size in what you want. No brand name polos sell at $30 regular retail.

well you're comparing SDR at full retail to shirts that are not priced at full retail. SDR shirts are expensive, but only about $10 more than full retail for brands like Peter Millar. Full retail Nike golf polos are ~$80 and their quality is awful. If SDR polos are good quality (I have no idea if they are or not), then their price point isn't way out of line for the market. I can find cheap Peter Millar polos on ebay for $40 but I'm not going to come on here and say that's how much they cost either.

So when I asked if you found those $30 shirts on clearance, your answer did nothing but affirm that assertion by telling me about polos on clearance,

You're on an odd one right now. I've made two points in this post. 1) $120 for that plain white SDR polo is laughably bad. 2) You can find name brand polos for $30. What does it matter if they are on sale or not? It doesn't change the fact that you can easily find them all over the internet

Would you have rather me said that you can also find name brand polos that are full retail for less than half the price SDR? Because that's also the case. On Adidas site their performance polo is $55.

Also, if anyone is looking for a new shirt to try, Penguin has all of their golf polos on sale right now. LINK

I'm not sure the quality as they are brand new but if they are going after the 'premium' clientele those prices are in line with Greyson, Peter Millar, Holderness & Bourne etc. Whether this is a good play is TBD.

Even if I became a billionaire I don’t think I could buy a polo for $120
