If so, what are the benefits you have seen? Also, which brand have you found most effective?

What I read is interesting. I personally am 36 and overall healthy. I have natural B12 and D deficiencies that I take supplements for. I was interested in potentially combining.

Ashwamag is a great supplement. One cap and you feel like you have been meditating for about 30 minutes.

I do! Every night.

Love it. I think it works great. Not groggy the next day, helps me stay asleep in the middle of the night or go back to sleep after I inevitably pee.

I pair with magnesium and zinc. I have had trouble staying asleep, not so much going to sleep. These 3 combined really help me stay asleep. I feel like it lowers my general anxiety/cortisol.

ETA:

I buy these on Amazon. LINK

Thanks! Would you say the benefits for you are exclusive to that? I ask because the anectodal evidence and all vary so much. I like asking a real person. Some of what is out there is skepitical at the least.

I should also add that it is not a strong sedative, at least for me. It doesn't knock me out as a Benadryl or prescription drug would. It just chills me out and helps keep my mind off of life's stressors.

Also great to pair with an indica for a real vibe before bed

See above.

It's just a general mood enhancer. And by enhanced, I mean relaxed. I have taken during the day when I've had too much caffeine and stress in my life as well.

My sleep problem has always been that once my eyes open for any reason, my brain kicks on and won't turn off. It helps a lot in this regard. I find magnesium and zinc really help with this too in different ways. Magnesium helps restless leg a bit and zinc helps the body absorb magnesium.

ETA:

I'll throw in some Valerian Root at night as well occasionally nd every morning I take L-Theanine.

ETA2:

I understand you just want to be healthy and high cortisol levels are very unhealthy in a lot of ways. Ashwaghanda helps with that.

All of this for me as well. I actually add Melatonin as well. Usually take the Magnesium and Zinc about 2 hours from bed time and the Ashwagandha and Melatonin about 30 minutes before and I am pretty much out when I hit the rack. I only wake up to pizz around 2 AM which sucks because I typically get up to go lift at 4AM.

I take a ZMA supplement and 60mg of melatonin on an empty stomach 30 mins before bed. It knocks me out and I sleep through whole night most of the time.

I’ve been taking for about a year. No huge obvious impact but hoping it helps with my somewhat low T.

Should be getting physical in next couple of months.

This board is largely unaware of the T benefits. It absolutely helps.
