Used to use a place years ago that is no longer around. Anyone have any tint company recommendations around Baton Rouge?

Likely going with ceramic tint.

What’s the rough pricing? I’m just looking to do a small sedan to keep it a little cooler for the next two years before we sell.

Last time I did my car in 2016 (doing my wife’s car this time) it was around $250.

Depends on the type of tint selected. I paid $379 for XR Ceramic. This is for an SUV.

Sounds about right. Don't remember what I paid (was gonna guesstimate about tree-fiddy), but this sounds in the neighborhood of what I paid,

Mine came with a lifetime warranty on installation and film defects.

TNT tint on industriplex. Ceramic tint on a Chevy Crew Cab and a Nissan Pathfinder and both were around $500/ea.

They did a great job for me quite a few years ago. BTW at that time they were the only shop who would deal with concave glass in El Caminos and 60's-70's Darts.

Did my 4Runner with their top of the line ceramic 5% on all of my windows except the windshield (including the sunroof) last summer. Cash price was $500. It was worth every penny.

Another silly question but aren't most of the legitimate places going to do only what's legally allowed?

Extreme Window Tinting

This guy will come to you, which makes it convenient and a bit cheaper. I have had him do a couple of vehicles and recommended him to friends with no complaints.

What’s the difference between regular tint from 20 years ago and ceramic tint?

About 350.

But seriously, it's the heat that gets through. The type of tint is what blocks the heat, not just the shade of it. I went with the darker tint for aesthetics.
