Oh boy.

As bad as we need Dline we can’t seem to get any for 2025 or the portal

Part of the problem, in my opinion, is that people had unrealistic expectations when Bo came on board. He is a great coach and recruiter but I don't think kids care about that as much these days.

Personally, I wasn't expecting any big splashes this year in the portal, but it is still disappointing to see these misses in the portal and recruiting trail given Bo's status as a coach and recruiter.

With that said, I think there's still plenty of time to turn it around and the best way Bo can do that is by showing great improvements from the players we do have during the season. He is going to need some proven development at lsu to really get these kids attention.

I know we need high level guys right now, but I just don't see that happening until he shows some on field improvement this year. I feel like it was the same thing with our O line. Brad and Kelly worked together to get the players we had serviceable and noticed by recruits. Then the big o line commits started rolling in.

DL recruiting is extremely competitive. Need Bo to make some good evals and coach them up until we can start landing a few big fish.

This one didn't surprise me at all. He's a 3-star from Florida who didn't really start accumulating major offers until this spring, after he had committed to Mississippi State. He probably wanted to go to Florida all along.
