Cobey Sellers (CB - Houston area)

On3 had an article about him this morning. He's been one of my favorite CB prospects for over a year.
Plays HS ball at Shadow Creek (where Maurice Williams played + Jacorey Watson [also LSU target at WR] plays).
He's an absolute lock-down to the point that schools just didn't even look his way.
Apparently CRay is making big moves with him and would LOVE to see him get onboard. Going to be a tough pull with Texas and OU heavily involved.
I know everyone is hyper excited about Pickett, Delane, Brew and Fegans, but this kid is special.

I was hoping we were gonna get on this kid. I feel like the rest of our targets you mentioned are safety types primarily, with Pickett, as a possibility to play outside.

Yup - agreed. A corner class of Antoine, Sellers, Pickett and Brew would be my dream scenario. But 3 of 4 would still be incredible.

It's either Sellers or Watson dad is from Baton Rouge. Also believe one of them mom's is LSU Alumni.
I gotta double check and update it here.
Just had to find it but it's Cobey and he was born in Baton Rouge.

Cobey is the son of Corey Sellers who played high school ball at Glen Oaks.

He's a very good athlete. My son played against him when he was a freshman and sophomore at Fort Bend Christian. We did not shy away from throwing on him, but again he was a sophomore and it sounds like he was more of a lockdown in 5A last fall. You could see the talent early on, just not good technique.
