I did this last year and almost completely miffed. Chaisson was the only guy I picked that contributed heavily (due to Key's absence).

it seems we never really know who's going to step up to the next level immediately. I pick....

Surtain (assuming he signs of course)
Traore
Marshall
Tracy (K)
Moore
Curry/Joiner

Curry and Provens will play right away. If Cotton is fully healthy he will play a lot, if he wouldn't have gotten hurt early on he would of been ranked towards to the top in state with Marshall

My official prediction:

Traore ends up starting at one of the tackle spots.

D. Lewis is gets a few starts at guard and plays in every game.

Surtain ends up a starter by the end of the year at the other CB position.

Cotton, Moore, and Cherry all log decent minutes in the Dline Rotation.

Joiner and Curry play a good bit in the RB rotation.

That's it.

If I could only name one recruit, I put money on Tracy the Kicker.

Moore will start. Joiner should have a big role. Marshall will play. I’m sure a couple of the dts will. Probably Haines and Jenkins

I think Traore, Moore and Tracy will definitely start

Others logging significant minutes:

Lewis
Marshall
Chase (if he signs)
Curry
Provens
Hines
Rosenthal
Wire
Cherry
Baskerville

That would be 13 contributors, which may be little high. Not sure who I'd subtract, because all of those guys can play.

The one guy I'm intrigued by is Dantrieze Scott. He's got good size and is listed as an athlete. I'm curious as to where he fits in.

The best newcomer hands down will be Giles. He will be the leading receiver.

It’s hard to predict until we know who are going pro. If the two corners leave we will be dreadfully thin at corner, so I’d expect our freshmen corners to play a lot. If both stay I expect we’d only see the freshmen on special teams. Same goes on the offensive line.

The guys who are so good, and so well developed that I expect them to muscle into playing time no matter what are:

Curry - SEC ready, thin position group, and at a position that is easy to learn. Better not fumble in practice, though.

Marshall - Also SEC ready and at a thin position group, especially when we go three and four wide. Better block like a mofo.

Chasen Hinds - Might be one of our best offensive guards as a true freshman. Tough competition, though. Edit: I just got around to waching Damien Lewis’ sophomre highlights. Not as impressive as Hinds, but very good. And he was only a sophomore. We got two good guards. I think Hinds would be wasted at nose tackle.

Cole Tracy - No brainer

Over who?

Greedy
Toliver (if he comes back)
Fulton
Vincent
I’ve read they’re really high on Kirklin
