Another 13 win team we could beat out a bid for.

South Carolina. They have been swept the final 2 weekends. They lost a series to Ole Miss. They are the one team who doesn’t have head to head over LSU. (This is assuming Alabama wins today)
What is their RPI?
What is their RPI?

Whole body of work? Both have 13 wins. LSU has won 5 of the last 6 SEC series.

I mean body of work isn’t that far off. We have the better overall record and same conference record. They do have a higher strength of schedule however.

In a perfect world, this would be the case 100% of the time. Fortunately for us, there is a human aspect and we are defending champs, one of the top programs in history, and travel well.

The whole body of work counts, but obviously a team that wins their way in looks better than a team that backs its way in.

One team is playing well. The other team is collapsing at the finish.

bull shite
Who is playing the best ball down the stretch? A team that got swept its last two weekends or a team that finished the second half 10-5. LSU had to replace a lot of players and it took a while, but they are definitely playing like a top 25 team now

It's typically what S Carolina, Kentucky, and Bama do.
SC completed their mission. Bama is trying their hardest. Kentucky, I guess, is waiting till the post season.

and are playing damn good ball down the stretch whereas they aren't. That matters too, or it should.

Accurate. Sorry my brain still hasn't processed that we lost that damn game Friday to Bama yet.

If you lose 6 in a row, while we went 10-5 last half...sorry, we are ahead of you. Bama losing really helps us. I think SEC gets 10 in.

4 of the last 5 but your overall point stands

Then that should be included- you can’t cherry pick the criteria

We aren’t defending anything- that was last year. So if it involved anyone blue blood program that rpi was worst than ours would you feel The same way?
