So glad Herring pulled one out in the final inning. Even when it got hairy, CJJ didn’t decide to pull him after the overturned call. I hope we see more of that.

He’s made some questionable but decisions this year but I don’t think he even had the choice here. Who the else would you want in the game at the moment, ya know. I was upset for the mound visit when it was 3-2. Just let the man do his job, he knows what’s at stake. Anyway, rant over it worked out

The "Herring" part of that story is more important than the "not pulling" part of that story.

In either case, the pitcher on the mound was pitching well. There was no reason to pull him.
