Any chance we could get Mayers to transfer? Went to St. Amant - 96 mph fastball

Read the article, doofus.

He was Collegiate Baseball’s national freshman pitcher of the year.

He has gotten much better since HS with the mental part and control. Still a high BB rate but the numbers speak for itself. Silva likely did a very good job with helping his development and a little more development can turn him into a top notch guy IMO.

0% that’s tampering and we would never tamper

now he may happen to end up in the portal and he may happen to come here after.

Man it’s tough sledding for these small schools now. Soon as a player comes to form another big fish swallows them up while small school is left in the dust.

Look I’m ok with people getting a chance to better their opportunities I. Life but there really needs to be a level of commitment to a program and I say that number is 2 years.
After that do what you will.

It works both ways. Their starting CF began his career at LSU.

There are a ton of small conference teams that live off power conference transfers.

Tournament team Lipscomb had like 6 guys in their line up or regular pitching staff that started their careers in the SEC.

Right, I don't understand why we went after the MWC POY. That hasn't worked well at all

Grant Rogers at McNeese, from Groves (Port Arthur) is another arm that could at least help the pen. But he only has 1 year left I believe.

Man I’d love to see a St Amant kid playing baseball for LSU.
