What needs to happen in Hoover for lsu to make the ncaa tourney?

I’d say win 1 game to solidify our spot

But if LSU is 11th in the conference, wouldn't they need more than that?

If we win today we are probably in regardless of what happens in Hoover. 13 SEC wins and you are generally in. Plus the benefit of being defending national champs.
That being said, a run in Hoover would be encouraging going into regional play.

5 teams tied at 13-17 making it further into the tournament than some of the others would make me feel better about it.

Winning 4 of our last 5 SEC series is going to put us in.

Not losing Game One might help. At 13-17 in SEC with a top 30 RPI, we are 38% to get into the NCAA according to past SEC stats. The SEC's overall RPI is higher than normal, so that chance is probably higher than 38%.
But...the committee can do whatever they want as long a team has an overall winning record. Just win today and win on Tuesday.

Do we get in over UF if they stay above .500? They are leading big today

If you look at the other teams on the bubble we have the much superior resume. The only reason we would not be included at this point is just because they don’t want to put too many SEC teams in which they almost never do lol

Should be. Being one game over .500 is not impressive imo

Wouldn’t matter much. When you have 5 teams with the same record there’s little difference between 8-12

I think in with a win today regardless of the sec tourney. But if we don’t make a regional, we have no one to blame but ourselves. Pissed away serveral wins. But I think we got this.

Fair or unfair, they won’t leave out the defending champs this close on the bubble.

UGA screwed us. Also, a UK sweep would have been helpful.
I don’t like that we lost all head to heads with Vandy, UF, and Bama.

We will finish tied for 7th in the conference. We will be the 11-seed.

No one is talking about this but there will also be several other 13-17 teams and 3 of those (if bama wins today) beat us in a series. I think it’s foolish to just ignore that and say 13 is all LSU needs. I doubt they put 11 SEC teams in

They put 11 teams in like 2 years ago
