NCAAs Emmert demanded his pound of flesh from Woodward so Wade is the sacrificial lamb to not go scorched earth on LSU. Been the plan all along.

I really don’t see any punishments coming down on the programs. I think by them firing Wade and completely cleaning house is going to help a lot but the NCAA will be watching us very closely. Good thing we have coaches with integrity now.

Scott believes paying players is worse than raping and beating women. Keep in mind LSU paid O a full buyout and still employees an employee that helped cover up a rape and beating.

LSU has a major public relations issue.

If you think he's going to get a big time job anytime soon you haven't been paying attention to current events.

He will never get another college head coaching job. The only things worse then what he did is if he had covered up a murder like Dave Bliss or bet on LSU games. Frankly, he isnt a very good coach and nobody is going to take a chance on him.

It’s insane and the Scotty dick riders will never admit it.

Scott sucks at timing, you fire wade on the eve of the NCAA run.

You fire O after beating UF while the week before he got blasted. You had a chance to fire the Buffon for cause after ucla shirt comment and camp video came out.

You had a chance in the spring to fire for title ix violations.

Instead he waits until mid season and pays him every last cent. He didn’t even get it down a little.

Plus verge staying after being involved in the title ix shite and can’t event get his kids to the team.

Scott can throw money and big contracts around but he doesn’t seem to do much else. He hasn’t made the fan experience any better.

Show cause willl be minimum 10 years. Based on similar punishments in recent years.

Anyone that actually read the NOA and thinks Woodward had any other option but fire Wade is just refusing to understand the situation.

I understand the argument that he isn’t doing anything different than other schools do but the fact is he did it stupidly and got caught with his hand in the cookie jar. That’s on Wade and he won’t be able to coach in college basketball again for a long time.
