Wisconsin's rating at No. 8, the highest rating for a two-loss teams, hints that the Committee has already decided it will leave Ohio State No. 1 if it and LSU finish 13-0.

Putting the Badgers above Penn State -- which lost to OSU by 11, compared to Wisconsin's 31-point margin of defeat -- allows the Committee to place comparable value on a second Buckeyes' victory over Wisconsin to LSU's win over Georgia.

Yep.

If LSU beats UGA, they will drop them to 15.

This committee is a disgrace.

It’s as orchestrated as Roger’s officials on a string. Complete joke

This ranking and that of the previous two of OSU's opponents has been over-inflated.

What is the reasoning other than just hate for LSU?

And believe the Committee's silliness will just add fuel to LSU's fire and that is real fine by me

LSU is spoiling the party for THE ohio state university. It was supposed to be their year. The committee knows LSU is the best competition and will beat OSU. Gotta knock them down and hope they get beat in semis

Bring back the BCS system next year. At least the BCS wasn't as biased as the CFP committee now.

OSU is a blue blood with a huge tv market. It's all about the money

Alabama loses to a top 11 team, on the road,by one point, with a back up QB, and falls 7 spots...Michigan gets blown out at home and falls one spot. This whole thing is a sham.

Amazing how it has come full circle. I remember the Big 10 bias and how much the SEC was ignored growing up and into the 2000s. It was all ND, OSU, Michigan, etc... Then the SEC got a chance with the BCS. They got rid of the BCS because if favored the SEC due to its performance based nature. CFP just allows for the old biases to be put back into place. People think it is about TV markets and I disagree. It is about a bunch of people thinking they know what is better than the results on the field. They now manipulate the rankings to get the desired matchups. It is not who is the best on the field.

I’m not sure what they expected. College football is run by crooks and carpetbaggers. Anytime you allow humans to determine the order, it’s going to a problem.

The issue at hand is that Ohio State will have a considerably easier road to NOLA than we do.

I’ve accepted it. We are playing Clemson.
They are giving Ohio State the easier path.
If we go 15-0 it will make it all the more glorious of a season. Bring it on
