I like Edwards pitching more innings.
If we get to the 9th not needing them, then yeah, have him come in to close.
But he has proved thus far to be our best reliever, I hope we use him for more than just 3 outs in the 9th.

He should be the first guy out the pen in high stress high leverage games. I think that’s his spot.

I think he’s more valuable as a closer to make damn sure we win the games Skenes pitches or a long relief guy in close games. If he hasn’t had to throw come Sunday then sure, let him start.

I agree. Use him like Arkansas is using Smith. Have him available for the weekends but if not used let him start Sunday.

I'd rather Little pitch the final 3 outs with the lead because Edwards pitched 2 innings to hold it than have Edwards not be used at all because Little gave up the lead while trying to hold a lead in the 6th or 7th.

Edwards is a good reliable arm that can throw more than 2. Would be great is someone else emerged for the closer role. Back end of the bullpen still needs to shake out.

Its funny cause I met his Dad in Round Rock because they were sitting around us and I was thinking at the time.

I like the way he looked vs the LH. With his off speed he might be split-averse
