We have a good shot at winning the tournament today

If Vandy loses and LSU wins we’ll be the tournament champs. We’ll look back at this weekend after we win the regional and realize it was a tougher weekend than the regional
We took a top five pitcher out of the game in three innings on Friday
Beat an always good USL team yesterday that wanted to win that game bad
Texas St. Is nothing to turn our noses up at. Wouldn’t be surprised to see them as a high 3 seed when the tournament comes around.

Not sure why the downvotes. They declare a chamion every year in the shriners based on wins and run differential, and as many times as LSU has been in it they've never won it. We always seem to under perform in these things. Would be cool to finally win it this year after being in it so much and not winning.
Texas State is a good team. They're 2-0 this weekend and 7-3 on the year with one of those losses being by 1 run to a top 5 ranked TCU team. Not sure how much pitching they have left, though

There’s multiple reasons why there’s downvotes

2. They don’t know that a champ is named every year

Pretty sure weve "won" a couple times before, though l could be wrong. Also, why isnt this the shriners classic anymore? I liked that in previous years it was a fundraiser for that org. Seemed to be a great cause.

Or maybe the title of “Champions” in this tournament means nothing. We go 3-0 I think everyone will be happy with this weekend whether we’re “champions” or not.

What’s wrong with going 3-0 and being named champs
Why is the champs of a tournament hurtful
It’s like being mad that the SEC wins the Big12 vs SEC challenge in basketball and LSU wins their game during it
LSU will leave with the best record in a tournament that has 6 teams that will all make the postseason.
