I know their starter is better than what we have left but does he go deep and what is left in their bull pen?

I posted this is another thread. I don't know much about Ole Miss' pitchers, but from what little I looked at today, this is this answer I came up with.

quote:

It looks like Nichols may be their Sunday starter.

quote:
Nichols, Mason - ERA - 3.50, WHIP - 1.22, W-L Record: 4-1

And besides their starting pitchers being out, both of their relievers who threw Thursday threw 36 pitches each, so I'm guessing one or both might be available. They also used 3 relievers today. 2 that I'd guess might be able to pitch for them tomorrow, as they threw 22 and 9 pitches. The third reliever they used today threw 39 pitches so I'm guessing he's not available for tomorrow.

I say that not knowing how Bianco normally uses his pitchers and under the assumption that they'll be all hands on deck like us tomorrow.

TL;DR - I'm guessing they'll have pretty much every one available besides their 2 starters and maybe a reliever.

For what it’s worth, my cousin is an Ole Miss grad. He was telling me earlier in the season when they played Tennessee that the only real chance they had was when their Saturday guy (guy who pitched today) was on the mound. I believe that’s the only game they won that series. Sounds like besides a terrible defense, their pitching is a real liability.

I think we can get it done tomorrow.

We just need to hit the ball when it matters. Pitching will be equal.
