Fontana is coming back next year I believe.

ETA: never mind that rebuild is way behind schedule.

Just me, but I prefer real road courses over street circuits.

PHX is paying NASCAR for the rights to host the race and the attendance is usually a sell out. From a business stand point it makes sense but the racing sucks. I can see the finally race being shopped to different markets if they continue to use the final race as their superbowl. Don't like it but it is what it is.

I don’t mind one so long as it has passing zones. I like the layout of Chicago’s. One a year is the max. I still wish Cup raced on dirt once, but an actual dirt track.

There are about 7 races that could end the season.

Homestead
Phoenix
Auto Club short track
Kansas
North Wilkesboro
Rockingham
Las Vegas

Throw Atlanta in there,.also.

I can’t see the final being at a drafting wild card track.

Fair but the racing is amongst the best on the circuit.

The Heat races for the All-Star race, which would’ve set the starting lineup for the All-Star race, were supposed to have been run last night but were cancelled due to weather.

The All-Star Open is underway.

Top 2 advance to the All-Star race, as does the winner of the fan vote (or the highest vote getter if the fan vote winner has already raced their way in).

Feel like Burton won’t be in that 21 car after this season. Just not performing.

Bubba Wallace’s team just put on 1 primary compound tire 3 of the soft compound tires on. Doh! That’s a no no.

I figure Gragson or Hocevar.

Ty Gibbs led every lap of the open and wins it. He advances to the All-Star race. Bubba Wallace’s finishes 2nd and advances, as well.

Noah Gragson wins the fan vote and advances.

The kid wanted me to take him to the hobby store today and when I asked him what he wanted to do for lunch he said Wendy's. The self serve coke machine had the Coca-Cola racing family's favorite choice and it couldn't be more perfect. Hamlin is a zero, Chase is a fruit I'd like to punch and Joey is vanilla... .

Cherry-Vanilla Coke was actually pretty solid. I think they're discontinuing it though.
