The actual on field product isn't even remotely comparable.

Explain this for us. Because the NFL is getting pretty shitty with its rules year after year.

College football has the same shitty rules with far worse players.

The best college game has worse players than the worst NFL game by a mile. If the 0-16 Browns played any college team in the country that year, they could have told the college defense that they were running off tackle behind Joe Thomas on every snap and averaged more than 10 yards per play.

We're all going to be flipping back and forth and will settle in on which one is the better game.

I am a big Texans fan and will likely go back and forth between them and the CFP game. No way in hell would I watch any other NFL regular season game over a CFP game without it being an early blowout.

I also realize I am in the minority nationally.

the constant conference realignment. Traditions and rivalries are what made college football special. As traditions and rivalries get whittled away every year, what's left?

Fair enough, i agree the super conferences are nonsense.

That’s a matter of opinion there are pluses and minuses to both.

CFP has been a full of bad games and/or blowouts.

There are plenty of bad games in the NFL

It would be questionable if the college team has a 100 yards of offense in my opinion.

College screwed up by getting rid of traditions/school connection and trying to move towards a semi-pro league.

I mean it’s getting harder and harder to protect CFB having expanded the playoffs so damn much.

can’t see why people would watch an nfl regular season game vs a cfp game. I’d watch the cfp game over the saints

Can always watch both. This notion that people don’t use their remotes while watching tv is silly.

That's why I, like most people, have more than one TV/laptop/etc. at my disposal. Can watch more than one thing.

It isn't college football anymore. It's a shitty, watered down version of the NFL.

I think the NFL will fare better especially Pitt-Baltimore game. Houston could have issues if Texas is playing on that day.

Both of these are complete nonsense, products of an extreme zero sum mentality

Of course a bad FL would beat any college and beat them comfortably but it wouldn’t necessarily be the name your score to zero that you guys are suggesting (depending on the team of course)
