It only gets better. The first two episodes are probably the weakest of the entire series. It’s an amazing series and in my opinion the most underrated series of the past 10 years.

Every season gets better than the next. There is one story line I felt was puzzling, but they didn’t dwell on it much. Especially in the later seasons. Didn’t ruin the experience for me. But if you are one of those guys, then you will come here and make a grand statement about something.

God, what a great show. Sometimes the ratio of plotting to badass naval battles is not to my taste but still a great show.

Amazing show. Not to hype it up too much but the final scene is imo one of the best closing scenes in tv history. There could not possibly be a better ending.

It’s an all time favorite of mine, top five show. I almost gave up on it after the first three episodes, just didn’t dig those as much for some reason. Then once it hit its stride about midway thru season one, it only got better and better. One of my favorite finales too. I recommend it to anyone looking for a new show.

You're in for an awesome ride. Not as much filler as GoT and all character arcs/plot points are resolved.
Aside from the "in this moment" repeated throughout the series, the writing is top notch. The speeches are chilling.
Each naval battle is unique and really showcases how experience and wit can overcome different circumstances.
It's about time for my yearly re-watch.
