Griff not taking a big in the draft two years ago gets more inexcusable by the day.

I haven’t watched much college ball this year, so I don’t know much about those guys. I was just watching a tournament game the other day and they mentioned Filipowski is a good shot blocker and he can shoot.

Holmes definitely sounds like a good option too. I wouldn’t want to rely on a rookie, but I’d like to draft someone in the mold we’re looking for and start developing them.

You care to explain this?
I can't imagine your talking about taking someone other than Trey.

You think takign Dyson was inexcusable at #8 over Duren?

You can get a good center prospect later in the draft. I really, really wanted the
pels to get back in the second round last year when Trayce Jackson Davis from Indiana was still there late, but the Warriors took him in the 50s and he's been a very solid center for them off the bench as a rookie.

yeah, I don't understand that at all. Nobody drafted in the 2nd round in 2022 has made any kind of early impact. For all we know Karlo could grow into the center we need

I don't think there was any way we weren't taking Daniels at 8 and when he is healthy, he has been a great fit for us.

Of course in hindsight, Duren or even a guy like Kessler would be a great fit on this team next to Zion.

If you’re asking who would help this team more right now, I’d say Duren. Dyson has more long term potential though.

Don’t we have a lottery pick from the Lakers?

we do or we can defer it for their pick next year. Probably more likely we do that

That’s how you draft a bust more often than not.

He has no offensive game whatsoever, he fouls too much, and he only plays half the game in college.
If you can’t do anything on offense, you better be an elite defensive player, and he is not.

If Griff called up the Pistons and offered Dyson for Duren what do you think would be their response?

I think they are pretty happy with Cade and Ivey so I doubt they need another PG that isn't a great shooter.

Meanwhile, we could really use a Duren as our backup big.

I still think Daniels is an important rotational piece for this team and has already shown to be a borderline elite perimeter defender.

No thanks. They already have a dyson type player in Ausar Thompson.

Filipowski seems like a Pels type of pick. He’s a Duke player that plays defense. Also, he can shoot and block shots which is something we need off the bench.

With the Lakers' pick, but that pick will likely be deferred to next year's draft. So Pels will probably only pick in the 20s with their own or the Bucks'pick swap.

Would LOVE Filipowksi but unless Griff trades up, idk how we get him. He’s def deferring the Lakers pick to next year
