Armed man saves family from violent murderer inside home

Good on the homeowner and I hope this a-hole goes to prison forever. But in what world would you not kill this man when you confront him inside your house armed with a knife? Shooting him once and then “taking a defensive stance on the second floor” seems like a waste given that he is still alive and a threat to your family. As evidenced by him still advancing upon you and your family with a knife.
And him saying “you’re gonna have to kill me” as he advances up the stairs would’ve especially been enough, but he still only shot him once more and let him leave (as cops got there).

I used yo live around Hillsboro (Highland County) for a minute not far from Fayette County and WCH. Highland County and Adam's County in Ohio had as many baws as southeastern Oklahoma.
