I just saw they had their grand opening and I might
check it out today. For those who’ve been to Aldi, do you like their products?

No. No one went because it’s trashy.

I went. Left with a basket full of groceries at a great price. Felt like an old school shopping trip. Don’t care if trashy

Aldi is my favorite grocery store. Some good European stuff and less clutter/unnecessary variety. Nothing trashy at all about it just better deals. No worries about carts denting your car since they require a coin to use the carts.

Basically for low income people that can't afford Publix, Trader Joes and Fresh Market.

I’m out. I don’t pay people to shop in their store.

I’ve been to the Central location. It’s no frills, but almost everything I have purchased from there has been quality and significantly less expensive.

I went yesterday. It was surprisingly uncrowded. Basic grocery store. If you’ve ever been to a grocery store in Europe it’s similar to that, which makes sense. Basically one option for items (their own in-house brand), maybe two if they carry a name brand of that item. Decent cheese/charcuterie section. Limited but decent looking fresh produce. Limited meats. Cheaper than other grocery stores. And the quarter for the cart is great. It doesn’t cost you a quarter. The quarter just unlocks the cart and when you return it and lock it back you get your quarter back. Genius simple way to make sure the carts are available and where they should be. I’ll be back.

I like Aldi. They have these Pain au Chocolate that my son likes. The shave beef they gave for Philly cheese steak makes great stir fry. I don't normally go in there with a purpose just randomly grab random stuff.

Does that come with the cart you have to pay for?

Calm down, you get your quarter back when you return the cart.

Aldi is one of those things that sounds great, but their knockoffs usually kind of suck flavor-wise.
