eventually, yes. The Feds will see it’s done.

Not sustainable for a middle class family.

Exactly, and it’s the ruling class elites and the poor who would just as soon eliminate the middle class to enjoy a Marxist government, and the poor don’t even realize how bad life will be for them when the middle class is gone.

It doesn't matter. They will always win the optics battle because the media backs them. They won in the courts and that's all that matters.

I nominate the apartment complex near the corner of Harrell’s Ferry & O’Neal as the St G ghetto.

Hate to break it to you, but you now need to fill out all paperwork as a rich white guy. Unfortunate for you because you really are neither, your privilege card will not be issued.

No one is fleeing to the unincorporated area of St. G. They all live there now.

People are fleeing to Livingston and Ascension. St. G is in EBR parish, it is not going anywhere. BR could have annexed all of it, but did not. They only tried to annex the parts they though had tax value.

From the utility companies when we pay taxes and fees for the parish contracts.

Another dumbass who has no idea that there is a City of Baton Rouge and a Parish of EBR.

The message I'm getting is:

"We've made our city trashy and dangerous with our policies and our culture and you must live in the filth with us"

I left a long time ago because I had to choose to move to the suburbs in BR or go to an area without a paltry education system.
Where did you move to where you don't have to live in the suburbs for a good public education?

In DFW it's the same - all the "white" people who could afford to moved north to Plano, Frisco, McKinney etc etc

White Flight is the reason Ascension Parish and Livingston Parish are both exploding. People who were sick of Baton Rouge voted with their feet and left.

The St. George vote was 180 degrees the opposite. They were tired of the shite but instead of leaving EBR Parish, they incorporated their portion of EBR Parish that was not incorporated. Its amazing how they choose to stay and continue contributing to EBR Parish instead of leaving and dumb asses are actually hating on them for it. The amount of stupid people that this whole thing has brought out is crazy.

Still they drive this message that somehow this area of EBR Parish was part of city,...it never was.

This statement is completely disingenuous. It may not have been in the city limits of Baton Rouge but it was definitely part of the Baton Rouge community.

If St. George was a community and never part of BR then how come mailing address has always been and still is Baton Rouge. This whole thing started when Bodi White failed to establish "Southeast Baton Rouge Community School System".

St. George is named after a fire department. Prior to 2015 (or whenever the original petition started) No one had ever heard of St George. Quit acting like St George is some long standing community like Central before its incorporation or other unincorporated communities such as Prairieville, Metairie, etc.

The true failure in all of this is falls upon the Baton Rouge mayors for not extending city limits as they invested in the growth of SE Baton Rouge in the '80s and 90's.
