Anyone else hearing a lot of milo talk?

It seems to be more interest in the crop this year than in a long time in my area. I suppose for those with marginal dryland acres and no cotton commitments it might make sense as a cheap alternative to soybeans, but even at 120-140 bpa it’s still no world beater.
Anyone else care to speculate as to what’s up? Heard anything I might have not?

If you have dove issues with milo, I have a shotgun and will travel to help with pest removal...

Not at all here. I don't know of anybody that's planting any, unless some people have changed their mind the last week or so. Local elevator basis is .50 under. There was a pile of milo around 5-6 years ago or so, but acres have dwindled every year.

I’ve heard similar quotes around here, as well. It just doesn’t pencil out to me.
