One of the new ones. Same size as a big ranger.

While I'm not sold on batteries and water, it is the fastest god damned thing I've ever driven.

Thing is a horse.

I could think of a lot of ways to spend 35-40k. An electric side by side is not one of them.

Put it like this, I've got two side by sides over 100 hp.

Neither is coming close to that thing.

It's also quieter than a golf cart.

Pretty close on the price. He said it was 35k otd with a 5 year battery warranty and eight year drivetrain.

And I thought 25k was a hard pill to swallow...

Edit... For 35k you don't even get a roof. That's extra

I think that would be awesome.
I've been wondering for years when somebody will just make an electric regular ATV type 4 wheeler.
That's really what I would like to have.
I love my old Timberwolf, but I sure hate the noise.

A few years ago Honda released electric pioneer 500s in small areas in europe as delivery stuff. Only a matter of time before they get here.

Had the niece not rolled one of the gas ones due to shitty suspension design, they are literally all I would have.

I'd go the 3-8 year old 4x4 nissan frontier route, put a small lift and tires on it. It'd come with a roof. Small gas pickups are pretty darn quiet too.

Some people spend their money differently.
Maybe he’s just loaded and wanted a new toy

So those were glorified golf carts.

This thing will easilly outpace my rzr to 40.

Maybe, but I do. There's a lot going on that I would like to creep along and hear. The Yip of a fox, certain birds, things like that. You can't hear that stuff on the 4 wheeler, even idling along.

It is, or at least it should be.

I don't care what people blow their money on. But godamn, a sxs should not be 35k without a roof. That's criminal.

I don't think I've ever been in THAT big of a hurry to get to a stand.

I have a sxs and it's loud but my Kodiak 700 is pretty dang quiet. I don't need anything more quiet than that for hunting purposes. If I had to hunt out of my sxs, I could see how that could be a pain.

Not always about hunting for me. Sometimes I just like to go see what I can see.
Sometimes if you approach a creek quiet enough, you can watch otters playing a little bit, or beavers, herons whatever. I saw a green one the other day. Hardly ever see one of those. If you've never seen one take off and fly, when the light hits their wings just right, it's hard to believe it's natural, but it is.
You can park the 4 wheeler and walk up, but it would be nice to be able to avoid that as much as possible.

Can’t wait for the electric mud motor. That way in December, I can sit in the duck blind and enjoy my coffee in peace!

Right now I have to listen to what sounds like the funny car finale at the Cajun National.
