Need some advice on what do with 6 holes below the waterline on a Bass Tracker I’m redoing. I put in a new transom, 1” thick, glassed plywood. Should I use something with a rubber washer or just coat it with a good silicone sealant?

Something like 5200 might work. It'd be best to have them plug welded.

OR you can do like me and my buddies did in high school and run a roofing screw coated in 5200 into each one of them. Looked like shite but it didn't leak.

Some thick marine silicone will do well until you get something permanent.

Coat screw in 4200. Not 5200.

Will be easier to deal with if you decide to have it welded.

If the holes aren’t too large a screw is optional.
