FOX News reported:

quote:

Pecker also said when he spoke to Trump about Trump reimbursing Michael Cohen for paying adult film actress Stormy Daniels, Trump told him he had no idea what Pecker was talking about.

quote:

He testified that Trump “had no idea what [he] was talking about” when he asked about reimbursing Michael Cohen for the Stormy payment

Pecker also testified that Cohen told him that he paid Stormy with his own funds and he was never reimbursed.

I think this is day 8 and the DOJ prosecutor still hasn’t mentioned or given an example of a crime.

Everything Pecker has testified he was doing is legal. It is also done by other famous people in including democrats and republicans running for office.

Sounds a whole lot like Cohen banged her and took a mortgage on his house to keep it quiet from wife and not lose his gigs with a Trump. Possibly defrauding Trump in the meantime by over billing Trump

That's not what he said.

In context, Pecker was asking "the Boss" to use Cohen's bonus to reimburse him for the expenses. Trump, who is famously cheap and doesn't like to pay his people, said that Cohen owned property and 'would be fine'.

He never said that he didn't know anything about it, and they in fact spoke about it multiple times. Trump is also on tape discussing the payoff.

That's because this case is a dog with fleas. There's a reason Cy Vance never really pursued this angle. Because it is just about impossible to prove and it relies on way too much supposition and inference and third parties operating independently....probably by design.

So Cohen pays her, says nothing to Trump. Then Cohen ostensibly working for the Trump Organization and Donald Trump, personally sends a bill. The Trump Organization pays it and then some. I'm not seeing a crime. Bragg and his deputies are really not that good or effective at this point.

The transcript isnt out yet but does anyone have a link to the exact exchange the OP is referring to?
The way I understood it the quote from Trump was in reference to Cohen wanting to make sure Trump knew he was 100% loyal to him and that may be in question. Trump had idea what he was talking about.

Was this before or after they set up all those conduits for cash from various Russian oligarchs?
