It’s ok, I understand. Sadly, it may not be possible for me to dumb things down enough for you to understand why we care about the Holocaust or other things we commemorate and pass down to other generations. Maybe if you tried to imagine that it was written in crayon you might understand?

No. I’m posting about Western civilization and the importance we place on the ability to learn from the events of the past. Things like the Holocaust and Rwanda and The Khmer Rouge and Mao and Stalin. It’s an indicator that one can reason or not,m the moral sense. With the idea that we can prevent it from happening again if we understand the moral import of it. You can’t. That’s cool, the world needs simpletons and mouth breathers too.
