Houston standout transfer safety A.J. Haulcy has committed to LSU while visiting Baton Rouge on Sunday, according to his agency. He chose the Tigers over Miami.

Haulcy, a junior from Houston, Texas, spent the past two seasons with the Cougars after playing his freshman season at New Mexico.

He had 74 tackles and five interceptions last year and was a first-team All-Big 12 selection last season.

This is definitely the icing on the cake. Personally I thought we would have been fine with the roster we had. But one or two injuries with the safeties group, this will be great “Safety Net”

Nobody posting has watched Houston or this kid play. He was recruited by New Mexico out of HS for God’s sake.

Who cares who initially recruited him? If the guy can potentially help out, then I’m glad that he was signed.

5 INTs, 13 PD. We also have another 4 INT Safety transfer. 5 star CB, another top CB transfer. Defense I think will finally be legit this year.

The defensive pieces seem to all be in place. I'm looking forward to seeing what we can do against Clemson with all this talent. If we do well, then the skies the limit

Whatever it is, we've seemed to have covered it. Without the Bryce money we might not have built this thang.

Bryce turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Nuss returned and we freed up enough money to sign some serious studs to have a COMPLETE team ready to compete in the playoff. We might not win it but will certainly be a tough out!!!!!!

I think that with 17 portal transfers we used up any Bryce money a long time ago

Signed the #1 portal class. Lets see what CBK does with his riches. If he flops like his 1st 4 seasons, his seat MUST BE hotter than CMMs

Today I learned that winning the SEC West is considered a flop.

And producing a heisman winner and the number 1 offense in the nation in the second season is also pathetic, apparently…
