Spotify has really stepped up their audiobook game. I’m on it all the time listening to podcasts and music but rarely check out their audiobook catalog.

I was surprised to see everything they have. Especially when it comes to the classics.

Just to name a few.

Dante
History of Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire
History of the Peloponnesian War
Letters from a Stoic
The Aeneid
The Mahabharata
Homer

Not to mention many fiction books.

They even have a great audiobook of The Good Soldier Svejk, maybe my favorite book of all time.

Yea they have a really good selection of new and classics. Only get 15 hours of listening time free per month (not sure how much it is to add more) but it works out good for me since I prefer reading physical copies but it let's me knock out something in addition to that each month. I've listened to numerous Asimovs and Frankenstein as well. Currently finishing off a newer fantasy series on there as well.

Definitely a nice added feature.

Yep. We've started listening to them on road trips. The 15 hours caught us up in March, as we spent a lot of time in the car. Luckily my wife has a work Spotify account as well, so we swapped over to hers to finish up the book we were on.

I use Libby because it’s free but may not be as extensive for new releases. You just need a library card to use it.
