Just pre-ordered The Demon of Unrest by Erik Larson. Master at narrative non fiction genre.

Read all his books and was wondering when the next one would drop.

Preordered it last week. Big fan as well

I need to check out more of his books. I read The Midnight Library and really liked it.

Midnight Library is my favorite from him, but I've also read How to Stop Time, Reasons to Stay Alive, The Humans, and The Possession of Mr Cave.

How to Stay Alive is a memoir he wrote. Gives some great insight into how he became the writer he is today and his struggle with his own mental health. The Possession of Mr Cave is dark, darker than I expected from him, but a good read. The Humans is about an alien who assumes a human's life. It's the funniest of his books that I've read, but has plenty of poignant moments as well. How to Stop Time is about a man who has lived for centuries, as long as he doesn't fall in love, but eventually does.

A beautiful 23-year-old heiress advertising for a companion in a Lonely Hearts magazine doesn't make sense. Responses lead to murder, and DA Hamilton Burger seems to have an airtight case against the heiress. Can Perry Mason save her?

Picked up Steven Wright's book Harold. Steven Wright is my favorite comedian, but he's not everyone's cup of tea.

I'm about halfway through it and although I can only really recommend it to people who like Steven Wright's style of humor, to those people, I highly recommend. Weird, existential, but very warm and eternally relatable. It reminds me of all those text messages and emails and class notes that I spent like an hour composing but never sent.
