Dream cycle now is break through in college to get a higher salary band >> get an NFL job and keep it for a few decades >> go to SEC school as an analyst to finish your career and get paid way too much to watch some film. Retire and profit

It reminds me of the times before college coaches got paid great. They’d do their time in college and leave for the NFL. I’m sure this has a lot to do with the nil and transfer portal. They’re sick of the nonstop recruiting and bullshite.

5 years ago coaching in college was much easier than NFL. Now with portal and NIL - coaches will keep fleeing to the NFL - heck I quit watching the NFL years ago but now I am no longer interested in big time college football.
