Per a league source, Grubb could be joining new coach Mike MacDonald as offensive coordinator of the Seahawks. While it’s not finalized, Grubb is definitely under consideration for the job.

Grubb, 47, has no NFL coaching experience. He previously worked at Fresno State (2017-21), Eastern Michigan (2014-16), Sioux Falls (2007-13), and South Dakota State (2005-06).

Would be a pretty underwhelming hire. He's done nothing but ride DeBoers coattails to every stop. Hasn't really proven its his success rather than DeBoers.

I think it is just his agent doing his job. High risk hire for Macdonald and I doubt he goes this route. Who knows though. Washington hired Quinn today lol

I think you could say the same thing about DeBoers. He hasn’t had any success without Grubb calling his offense and his teams have been known for elite offenses.

Would be funny if he sold his house in Seattle and moved for a month (and buy a house near Tuscaloosa) only to come back and buy a house a month later (and sell a house near Tuscaloosa)

I am still all aboard the Grubb back to Seattle train. If it happens, I hope he was the mad genius all along. If it doesn't, I hope he flames out in Tuscaloosa.

What if DeBoers is really riding Grubb's coattails?

It's not just Bama, it's about half of the SEC for me, bit Bama the most. It will subside in about 3 or 4 years.

1/9/12 was so mentally damaging for some that they will never recover.

Were you not expecting talk of potential coaching changes on the coaching changes board? You gumps do so much work to pretend yall aren’t spiraling after Saban’s retirement

Well it actually is “BilJ”. You see, “Bear” is a nickname given to me many years ago and has nothing to do with Bama . But your post kinda proves my point on the unhealthy nature of LSUs obsession with all things Bama. It’s bad when you are worried / hoping for asst coaches to leave/fail nicknames, etc…time will heal it

You must have missed the Grubbs thread that got axed. Nothing but hopium and turrible sources. Truly a thing of beauty, especially if he stays.

It just kills them that Bama ( the job no HC would want ) hired one of the top young coaches CFB in 48 hrs…. Bama will be Bama regardless ,and will not have the dominant program like under Saban’s 17 years but as long as we are “in the hunt” sprinkled in with some SEC titles here and there , fans will be happy. They are a broken fan base and it just baffles me

We recovered in 2019. Now, we are just having fun. The gump melt is just beginning and will be extremely entertaining for a while.

As mentioned 2019 helped the healing process, but I usually take an extra swig if I think about it. It's not that we lost, but it was the way we lost.

Gotta go now
