I get it, but QB of LSU is getting to be a pretty special position in sports. Obviously relative

Like QB for the cowboys or short stop for the Yankees lol...okay maybe not to that degree

Powerade has a special relationship with LSU. I'm sure we're all aware to the Gatorade story?

troll. Kelly did his job and interviewed several people.

As for the rest, I'm not sure how NIL works, but when Nuss is the face of Powerade during the season, I want you to remember where you heard it first. As that's the only real way to prove it, I think?

Kelly didn't try to get Rees in?

I assume that if he did, it was just a phonecall nobody could know about.

understood Jayden because of his California connection and high profile as a recruit, but Nuss would be a surprise. If you get that right, I'd be thrilled for him

I've thought about this, and I think it's more a reflection on how big a deal being the LSU QB is lately.

Hiring coordinator = Job Recruiter. They’ve been around since the dawn of civilization. What’s newsworthy about this?

There’s nothing cool about the idea of Pitrino. That would have been an awful mistake.

Kiffin has slayed the portal, so I just assumed he was tampering. Don’t they all?

Kiffin has gained quite a reputation for rampant tampering.

Does this really surprise anybody? It shouldn't.

Not sure if Petrino piece is made up, but I absolutely believe there are people at Arkansas that want him back as head coach. He had them in the top 5 not too long ago and they've been floundering ever since. I could see the power brokers in Fayetteville telling Petrino he's the next guy up if he keeps his pecker out of the help and the offense performs pretty well this year.

Pit boss is retiring soon, we know that. Petrino seems like a very likely candidate.

Arkansas hired 64 year old John L Smith to be head coach once. Then hired 60 year old Sam Pittman.

LSU gave 60 year old Brian Kelly a 10 year contract.

Pittman is retiring after this year, I guarantee it.

I played the shite out of that cassette in my first car

Always considered Aldo Nova to be the immediate precursor to Bon Jovi and that style of rock. To me, that song was a pretty clear inspiration for Runaway, which was the song that first put Jovi on the map. Just really similar tempo and overall sound, like they could be on the same album.

Powerade cut NIL deals last season with four other players besides Daniels, including Jared Verse of FSU. So a deal for Nuss isn’t crazy.

Baton Rouge the biggest producer of Powerade in the country. When Coke built their new facility years back it was delayed because they added two extra lines to produce Powerade for the South.

But most notable on the list was Petrino himself

So you’re saying that Kelly was considering Petrino, a known egomaniac, also known for his own offensive scheme……to run Kelly’s offense(because that’s what LSU runs).

This ruse is starting to fall apart
