Jerod Mayo an ILB coach is a candidate? Damn being an ILB coach for 4 years makes you a candidate for a NFL HC job these days?
He's basically co-DC with Bills kid.

Mea culpa, bad memory here. Why did JH leave the pros? Fired or just wanted to try college ball?
IIRC he and the 49er’s ownership didn’t see get along. Once the 49er’s started losing he started looking for a life raft.

Stories were he was allegedly a huge a-hole towards 49ers ownership, such as pulling his team off the field during a private practice for suite holders because he didn’t like the turf and then later telling the owner to leave a team meeting because it was for real men only.

Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh has hired football agent Don Yee to represent him, sources tell me and @PeteThamel. Amongst others, Yee represents Tom Brady and Sean Payton and has deep NFL ties.

Harbaugh didn’t get along with the GM in San Francisco. And DeBartolo’s spoiled nephew backed the GM who was subsequently replaced by Lynch. Harbaugh is going to want a lot of control wherever he goes.
