I'd rather him than some dude from the cowboys who has never coached college ball and got fired by coach O greatest mentor. At least Bo has proven himself

Guy is a clown on the sidelines, a lazy recruiter and a despicable human being. Ask Husker fans about his demeanor during his tenure.

How do you know he is washed up and out of touch. We had good defenses with him. He did better at Nebraska than the guys who have been hc in the same decade. Still in the game at Youngstown

I reserve the right to change my mind 1-2 years down the road, but for the moment I trust CoachO and Woodward to make a good hire.

In your honest opinion, huh?

You literally have nothing to base this on.

I’m confused at the Pelini hate. Is he my first choice? No.

Nebraska hasn’t done shite since he left and we had top 5 defenses every year he was here.

You can argue about the game changing and him being washed up but the game has changed a ton and guys like Saban, Pruitt, Smart, Venables, etc are all still coaching at high levels on defense.

Hell Pelini was a CO-DC with Venables at Ou in freaking 2003 and Venables is far from washed up. Just because a guy is experienced doesn’t mean they can’t adapt.

Very true, just because he hasn't seen him coaching at a power 5 school means he's washed up.....I swear people have no sense sometimes, lol.

Maybe I'm wrong, I guess it's possible he could watch every game Bo coaches at Youngstown State Penguins football, could be a huge fan, he might know more than all of us

Pelini was an excellent DC at LSU. His defenses were ranked #3 in each of the 3 years that he was with the team. He was loved by the players and fans. He stayed clean and free of drama during those 3 years. I hated to see him go. I would welcome him back.
